Staff report to be presented to Council January 24th

January Council date announced!

Following a multi-year, multi-phase planning process, the draft ʔəy̓alməxw/Iy̓álmexw/Jericho Lands Policy Statement is now ready to be presented to City Council for their consideration. City staff, in collaboration with the proponent team, will be presenting a report and the draft Policy Statement to Council at the Standing Committee for Policy and Strategic Priorities on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

The draft Policy Statement establishes planning principles and policies that will guide future rezonings and redevelopment of the 90-acre site.

The Council report, agenda, and information on how to sign up to speak to Council will be shared on the City’s website (here) closer to the meeting. You can sign up to receive notifications when the meeting agenda is posted (here).
