Public engagement results

Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend our pop-up event, take the survey, or send a message during public engagement for Jonathan Rogers Park Improvements.

From April 14th to May 3rd, 2026 we received 815 responses from residents to our online survey and over 100 visitors at our park pop-up on April 18, 2026. An Engagement Summary Report (PDF, 9.1 MB) is now available.

The results from this phase of engagement, along with ongoing technical considerations, will inform the development of a refined concept plan. This updated plan will be shared with the public before it is presented to the Park Board for a decision in late 2026 or early 2027.

Once approved, the concept plan will go through detailed design in 2027, with a targeted construction start in 2028.
