Announcement(December 16, 2025)In response to the in-person community information session on November 24, 2025 and public feedback received on this application, the applicant has incorporated a unit mix into the proposed development. The proposal now includes 55 social housing units, including 46 micro-dwelling suites, four larger accessible studio units, and five two-bedroom units.The “test fit” drawings which demonstrate inclusion of a unit mix are included on the righthand side of this page, under the “application documents” heading.The application continues to propose social housing, and the applicant is considering partnering with Lookout as the proposed building operator.For information, at the rezoning stage, Council does not approve a specific building operator as part of a proposal. When is this happening?
On June 12, we installed our first pop-up plaza at E 27th Ave and Fraser St. We installed four additional plazas on June 22. We will be installing more in the coming weeks.
Hastings-Sunrise (Clinton Park area) traffic calming
The project area is between by E Hastings St, Renfrew St, E 1st Ave and Nanaimo St.We want to address these traffic issues on local streets in the community through the Neighbourhood Traffic Management Program.
