The City of Vancouver has received an application to rezone the subject site from RM-5A (Multiple Dwelling Residential) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal is to retain the existing 14-storey seniors housing building (which includes 215 units), and allow for the development of a six-storey rental residential building, which includes:
90 units, including 23 units at below-market rental rates;
A floor area of 5,511.3 sq. m (59,323 sq. ft.);
A building height of 20.3 m (67 ft.); and
An overall floor space ratio (FSR) of 3.57 for the entire site.
The City’s Tenant Relocation and Protection Policy applies to this site. This policy provides assistance and protections to eligible renters impacted by redevelopment activity. To learn more visit: vancouver.ca/protecting-tenants.
