1030-1056 Burnaby St rezoning application

The City of Vancouver has received an application to rezone the subject site from RM-5A (Multiple Dwelling Residential) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. The proposal is to retain the existing 14-storey seniors housing building (which includes 215 units), and allow for the development of a six-storey rental residential building, which includes:
- 90 units, including 23 units at below-market rental rates;
- A floor area of 5,511.3 sq. m (59,323 sq. ft.);
- A building height of 20.3 m (67 ft.); and
- An overall floor space ratio (FSR) of 3.57 for the entire site.
This application is being considered under the West End Community Plan.

Application drawings and statistics are posted as-submitted to the City. Following staff review, the final project statistics are documented within the referral report.
