Will the 52 below market rentals be spread throughout the building? My sister lives next door to a low income housing building and there’s lots of crime, needles and homeless people in the area due to the low income housing building near her home. Is a below market home the same as a low income housing building? Will steps be taken to ensure a safe neighbourhood for everyone living near this new the building?

The below-market rental units will be located on levels 2 through 11 of the proposed building. The proposed monthly rents for the below-market rental units will range from approximately $990 for studio units to $2,350 for 3-br. units. The below-market rental rates will be secured for the life of the building, even on change of tenant.
