Fastmark Development Corp. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop a 12-storey, mixed-use residential building, with retail units at the ground floor, containing 88 Secured Market Rental units, with a partial storey for amenity rooms, including retention of the heritage façade of the existing building (1914 Western Canada Building), consisting of:
A proposed FSR of 9.31 (58,090 sq.ft.)
A proposed height of 36.4 m (119.4 ft.)
Providing three parking spaces and one Class A loading space at level one, having vehicular access from lane
The rezoning application was approved by City Council, following Public Hearing of July 10, 2025. Among the conditions of Council’s approval, the applicant must obtain approval of a development permit.
