Granville Street Pedestrian Zone survey

This summer, the City of Vancouver, in partnership with the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association (Downtown Van), has transformed Granville Street into a pedestrian zone.

The pedestrian zone spans five blocks of Granville Street between Davie Street and Georgia Street from June 11 to July 19 while Vancouver is hosting the FIFA World Cup 2026™, and includes:

  • New and expanded patios
  • Additional public seating
  • Interactive installations and photo opportunities
  • Additional events, music and programming led by Downtown Van
  • Comfortable space for people to gather and stroll
  • Rerouting buses to Howe and Seymour Streets

We appreciate the time you provide to take our survey. This work will help inform the long-term vision of the Granville Street Plan and potential future pedestrian zones on Granville Street and across Vancouver.
