Spring 2025 engagement

To help the City of Vancouver be more inclusive and support the growing aging population, we developed the Older Persons Strategic Framework and 2025 Early Actions.

The City is now planning for future actions and wants your input! Share your thoughts on the best ways to improve the lives of older persons in Vancouver.

How to get involved

Join us at a community event or program:
- Tuesday, May 27, 10 am-noon, Dunbar Seniors Cafe at St. Philip's Anglican Church (3737 West 27th Avenue)
- Monday, June 9, 1:00-2:30 pm, public engagement event at Kitsilano Neighbourhood House (2305 W 7th Avenue)
- Thursday, June 12, 9:30-11:00 am, public engagement event for Chinese-speaking older persons (event in Mandarin and Cantonese) at Carnegie Community Centre (401 Main Street)
- Thursday, June 12, 11:30 am-1:00 pm, public engagement event at Carnegie Community Centre (401 Main Street)
- Friday, June 13, 1:00-2:30 pm, public engagement event at 411 Seniors Centre (3502 Fraser Street)
- Saturday, June 14, 1-5 pm, West End Seniors’ Network Strawberry Festival, Barclay Manor (1447 Barclay Street)
