Vancouver Community College Planning Program – Phase 1 Survey

We want to hear your thoughts about the future of the Vancouver Community College (VCC) Broadway Campus. 

Today, the campus includes academic buildings and surface parking. Over time, parts of the site are expected to be redeveloped to make more efficient use of the land as buildings reach the end of their useful life. VCC’s goal is to update and modernize their academic facilities, as well as add new housing, shops, and services on the site. 

This survey is part of the first phase of public engagement. At this stage, no final decisions have been made. We are asking for your feedback on: 

• Draft guiding principles (the values and priorities that should guide future planning), and 
• Early concept options that explore different ways the site plan could be arranged.

Your feedback will help the City refine draft policies for the site. Refined policy directions and a preferred concept will be shared for further feedback in a second round of engagement in the fall 2026. A final proposal is expected to go to City Council for a decision in early 2027.

This survey is open until Tuesday, June 9 and takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.
