W.C. Shelly Park is a small (0.3ha) neighbourhood park located one block north and one block west of Commercial and Broadway in the Grandview-Woodland area.

We are expanding the park to meet growing demand for park space. This will introduce new programs to the park and renew existing assets. We are seeking your feedback and input on the future vision of the park.

Get involved!

  • Review the information boards and concept plan (PDF, 7.2MB)
  • Take our online survey from June 3 – June 22 June 29 to share your feedback
  • Attend our in-person pop-up at the park on Saturday June 14. Come see us between 11 am to 2 pm near the centre of the park
  • Sign up for the newsletter for updates in your inbox. Find the sign-up form on the right side of the page
The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation acknowledges, with respect, that our parks are located on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.

    W.C. Shelly Park survey: draft concept plan

    Survey period extended by 1 week to June 29th, 2025

    We want to hear about your experience of W.C. Shelly Park and need your help to refine the draft concept design. The design of the draft concept plan has been informed by site analysis, previous engagement, and Park Board policies and strategies. To learn more about this project, please see our information boards (PDF, 7.2MB). 

    This survey asks you to think about how you currently use the park and your thoughts on a preliminary concept design for the park expansion area and changes to the existing park. The survey will take about 10 - 15 minutes to fill out. You may go back to your previous answers at any time using the “Back” button at the lower left of each page.
