We’re working to implement quick-build traffic calming measures in the Moberly Park neighbourhood through the Neighbourhood Traffic Management Program. The project area is bounded by Fraser St, E 57th Ave, Argyle St and SE Marine Dr. The focus of this project is on reducing the impact of non-local vehicles on local streets. The boundary streets, as well as Knight Street, are out of scope.
We are engaging with the community to inform the traffic calming measures selected for this neighbourhood. Traffic calming refers to physical changes on the road to slow traffic and reduce vehicle volumes. These changes make roads safer for all users.
Our Phase 1 engagement period was from April 8 to April 30 2026. An engagement summary will be shared later in 2026.
Next Steps
In April 2026, we engaged the community to help identify traffic issues. Thank you to everyone who gave feedback through the survey, email and meetings.
Through summer 2026 we will analyze community feedback and refine the plan. Later in 2026, we will share a summary of community feedback and a proposed traffic calming plan. We will then seek further input to refine and finalize the proposed plan.
