The City of Vancouver is turning Vancouver Plan (2022) into the Vancouver Official Development Plan (ODP), a city-wide policy document that will be adopted by by-law to guide how the city grows and changes over the next 30 years and beyond. Under new Provincial legislation, Vancouver must adopt a city-wide ODP by June 2026.

The draft Vancouver ODP outlines land use policy for the whole city, mapping out space for housing, jobs, parks and schools as the city grows. It builds on the Vancouver Plan, which was created after years of engagement with residents, equity-denied groups, businesses and community organizations. The draft ODP includes all the content of the Vancouver Plan, adding only the necessary information to meet Provincial legislation, updates to reflect Council direction since Vancouver Plan and minor updates to improve clarity.

Thank you to everyone who joined an event and/or provided your feedback on the draft ODP. A summary of consultation is now available (PDF, 7.7 MB).

Feedback collected was used to inform the final version of the Vancouver ODP that will be presented to Council in the coming months. There will be another opportunity to share your comments directly with Council at, and leading up to, the public hearing.

    Thành phố hiện đang trong quá trình chuyển đổi Kế hoạch Vancouver (2022) thành Kế hoạch Phát triển Chính thức Vancouver (ODP). ODP là văn bản chính sách áp dụng cho toàn thành phố và sẽ được ban hành thành luật địa phương để định hướng sự phát triển và thay đổi của thành phố trong 30 năm tới và xa hơn nữa. Văn bản này nêu rõ chính sách sử dụng đất cho toàn thành phố, quy hoạch không gian cho nhà ở, việc làm, công viên và trường học.

    Từ nay đến hết Thứ Tư, ngày 29 tháng 11 năm 2025, quý vị có thể tìm hiểu thêm về dự thảo ODP Vancouver, tham dự một sự kiện và gửi ý kiến phản hồi. Các ý kiến phản hồi thu thập được trong đợt lấy ý kiến công chúng này sẽ được sử dụng để hoàn thiện phiên bản cuối cùng của ODP Vancouver, sẽ được trình cho Hội đồng vào năm 2026.
