Bridge Ends and Connections
previous next
The proposed design includes changes at the bridge ends to make it easy and comfortable to get on and off the bridge. These changes include: (1) North End – a rebuilt Granville-Drake intersection connecting to the proposed Drake St upgrades; (2) South End – a new signal at Granville-5th Ave, and improved W.5th Ave linking to Arbutus Greenway; and (3) future proofing to allow for a future Granville Island elevator and staircase.
